Earlier on this month Microsoft filled an trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. They patented a new video game that is in development called “Eden Falls”. This doesn’t come as a surprise as recently both Sony and Microsoft have been trade marking a series of new games that they plan to release either later on in 2015 or 2016.
There isn’t much known about Eden Falls as of right now. What we do know is that the game is developed by Brimstone Interactive and takes place in a science fiction world. This brings a lot of thoughts to the mind, what could Eden Falls mean? and what will the game be like.
Microsoft made a statement regarding the recent trademarks they’ve made saying, “Recently we have been trade marking a series of games currently in development. Eden Prime, the most recent game to be trademarked will be one of the best exclusives to ever come from Xbox. We believe that this game will bring in new fans to our console. We will be revealing more information regarding Eden Falls at this year’s 2013 E3 Gaming Expo”.
Microsoft has been working to find new ways to better their gaming platform with exciting and thrilling exclusives. They must do this as recently the Playstation 4 has been outselling the Xbox One by a mile. Microsoft has openly said that they need to find new ways to create a better gaming experience in order to bring old fans back to their console.
